AS200 Alignment Sensor GENERAL (2.0.0 Rev. A - March 2019) - Software Release Date: March 2019 The release notes and related product documentation might have been updated since the release date. You can view the latest release notes and documentation, including the localized editions, at the Cognex support site at https://support.cognex.com/en/downloads/alignment-sensor.   INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION (2.0.0 Rev. A) - For installation information, see the "AS200 Alignment Sensor Quick Start Guide," accessible from the Help button. - For the detailed configuration information, see the "AS200 Alignment Sensor User Guide," available at the Cognex support site (https://support.cognex.com/en/downloads/alignment-sensor). ================================= NEW FEATURES (2.0.0 - March 2019) - Support for two features - Support for shuttling camera (1 camera sensor only) - Support for shuttling part (1 camera sensor only) ================================= KNOWN Issues (2.0.0 - March 2019) CR764: With a newly created sensor, communication settings (TCP/SLMP) may be shown incorrectly. Workaround: - Create Sensor - Press "OK" to get back to "Home" page - Go to "Sensor" page - Press "Refresh" button - The sensor settings should now be shown correctly CR747: Cannot access calibration result data for 2nd shuttling position. For shuttling camera, each shuttling position requires an individual calibration. When calibration has finished successfully, the calibration result details for this calibration will be displayed. When pressing the "Details" button on the main page, only the calibration details of the last executed calibration will be shown. Unless the motion system behaves differently at the two positions, the displayed calibration details for both shuttling positions are expected to be very similar anyway. CR748: When changing the shuttled position of an existing Recipe using the combobox at the bottom of the Recipe page, the recipe must be saved using the "Save" button. The Shuttled Pos column will not be updated immediately. The user must leave and re-enter the Recipe page to see the update. CR 762: When the PC gets gonnected to the sensor network after the AS200 setup application has been started, Sensors and cameras will not be properly discovered. Workaround: Exit and re-start the application while PC is connected to the network. Backward compatibility: The V2.0.0 HMI can load and visualize sensors created with V 1.x HMI. Also V1.x recipes can be edited with V2.0.0 HMI. If a new recipe is being created for a V1.x sensor using HMI 2.0.0, the sensor will be upgraded to V2.0.0. Note that only new recipes created with V2.0.0 HMI will support the new V2.0.0 features. Existing V1.x recipes will still show V1.x behaviour. A V2.0.0 sensor can no longer be loaded and visualized with V1.x HMI. ================================= NEW FEATURES (1.7.1 - January 2019) - Introduced error codes. The return status of a command can now be < 0. Error codes are listed in the Communication supplement document. - If system is calibrated, a feature's training position will automatically be its Golden Pose. "TA" command will override, if required. - Added commands to set/get Golden Feature Pose in Home2D, Camera2D or Raw2D.Can be overridden with "TA" command. - Added command to get current feature position in Home2D, Camera2D or Raw2D. - The timing information in the log now has ms resolution. - Incoming and outgoing messages have different background grey values now. - A crosshair in the center of fov can now be shown in live mode. - Added continuous trigger mode on Feature Setup page. - Added image playback mode on Feature setup page. - New GUI design (icons). ================================= KNOWN Issues (1.7.1 - January 2019) - Occasionly it may occur that the crosshair indicating the Golden Feature Pose is not displayed when the "XA" command has been executed. ================================= NEW FEATURES (1.5.0 - August 2018) - Support of the camera's Strobe output usage. It can be configured on the Sensor's Advanced setup page. - More detailed calibration information. - Support of 9-point Custom Calibration (requires X/Y moving capability of motion system). - More detailed timing information. The time stamps in the log now have a resolution of ms. Time used by vision tools are shown on display. - Log of incoming and outgoing messages now have different background grey tone for better capability to be distinguished. ================================= KNOWN Issues (1.5.0 - August 2018) - On some systems there may be a problem with Acrobat Reader DC opening the help file using the Help (“?”) button on the main page. The Acrobat process will be started but the window doesn’t show up. The Acrobat process must be killed in this case. WORKAROUND: Set Edge Browser as default program for .pdf files. KNOWN ISSUES (1.0.0 Rev. B - July 2018) - If a camera does not have an internal light connected, acquisition with this camera will hang when the “Light Enable” checkbox is unchecked in the Exposure Settings for this camera. Always keep this checkbox checked (default setting) if there is no light connected to a camera. (CR# 432) KNOWN ISSUES (1.0.0 Rev. A) - The AS200 Alignment Sensor software requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1, which is not pre-installed to Microsoft Windows 10. To install Microsoft Framework 3.5 SP1, you must have internet access.
