Calibration Commands
Use these commands to determine the position of the camera within the coordinate space of the motion system. A minimum of eleven calibration positions is required. The positions must include translation in X and Y and rotation about the Z axis.
The three types of calibration commands include the following:
- Automatic Calibration - Determines the position of the camera within the coordinate space of the motion system, without having to train the positions of the motion system. The AS200 provides the calibration positions.
- Hand-eye Calibration - Determines the position of the camera within the coordinate space of the motion system. The calibration positions are provided by the motion system.
- Custom Calibration - Determines the position of the camera with the coordinate space of the motion system, when not all motions for the motion system can be performed in the field of view of the camera.
